LEGO Friends 2014 Set Images

Every year it seems as though the time when images of the next year’s sets are revealed gets earlier and earlier. Anyway, now we have images of 2014’s LEGO Friends sets for fans of the line. We posted a small list of rumoured LEGO Friends 2014 set names back in August, but now quite a lot more information has surfaced regarding the Friends theme, including more set names, descriptions and images.

Even though I can’t really say I’m a fan of the Friends line, out of the ones listed above, I’d go for Mia’s Lemonade Stand set as it includes 1×1 printed circle tiles as cookies and a nice new electric scooter element. The other two are okay, but the baby lamb that is included in Stephanie’s New Born Lamb is just a bit too cute, like many other animals in Friends sets.

LEGO Ninjago 2014 Cyborg Figure and Set Images

A lot of LEGO Ninjago 2014 news for next year has surfaced in the past few days, both rumours and official. The first of which was that Mesonak, a Eurobricks user, found a seller on eBay selling what appears to be some sort of new cyborg ninja minifigure from the Ninjago theme. This figure hasn’t been seen before, until now. According to the auction, the figure is named “General Cryptor” – which is apparently going to be included in two sets: 70721 Kai Fighter and 70724 NinjaCopter. The general is mostly black, but includes some electronic printing and cyborg-eye ninja mask.

The Brick News have posted set images of three of the early 2014 Ninjago sets, some of the pictures coming from sites such as Kmart. What’s interesting about all the images above is that the four ninjas (or five if you count Lloyd) are all not wearing their usual masks, instead opting for hair pieces and bandanas. Take a look at some more images and descriptions over at The Brick Fan.

LEGO Ninjago 2014 2

The Official LEGO Ninjago Facebook page also posted this image as well (right), which depicts the words “LEGO Ninjago REBOOTED” at the top and a series of binary code down the bottom that reads “NINDROID”. In the center of the teaser image/poster is what we only assume to be General Cryptor.

LEGO Ninjago hasn’t released any sets in a while, with the new Legends of Chima effectively replacing it. Many loyal fans thought that Ninjago would come to an end, but it seems as though LEGO is reviving or “rebooting” the theme with cyborgs and robots for maybe another year.
