LEGO Hero Factory 2014 Set Images

As we try to clear the backlog of news in the past couple of weeks, here’s a look at next year’s LEGO Hero Factory set line-up, courtesy of the Walmart.ca website yet again.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Hero Factory theme (or BIONICLE for that matter), so I don’t have much to say about next year’s first wave of HF sets. But I’m sure that, for those who like the robot figurines, these sets will a welcome addition to the theme. As a sidenote, this wave of sets is titled: “Invasion from Below.”

MOC of the Week: LEGO Factory

Lee Young, known as edguy20 on Flickr, has created this masterpiece of a LEGO diorama which is apparently a factory complex. Back in July, Lee finished this week’s MOC of the Week and posted photos of it on his Flickr account. This particular model caught my eye because it’s one of the first LEGO factory dioramas that I’ve seen before and also the fact that Lee has used different colours and elements to add to the dirty-factory feel.

LEGO Factory by Lee Young 1Just taking a quick look at his photostream, Lee is a pretty talented LEGO builder and of buildings in particular as well. The full diorama (above), does include some lines of trees on the side of the road, as well as what looks like factory workers running down the main street. The second image (below) shows one of the many factory buildings that join together to make up the factory scene.
