Possible LEGO Simpsons Minifigures Found

An eBay member by the name of 2011lilibetho10 sold what might just be minifigures from either the upcoming LEGO Simpsons sets or from Series 13 Simpsons-themed Collectable Minifigures a couple of days ago. The auction ended with a final bid of US$56.00 after nine bids by various other eBay users. The figures look like Simpsons characters Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders.

LEGO Simpsons Minifigures

The same eBay seller that sold these two LEGO Simpsons minifigures is also selling the Homer figure, Ned Flanders and a LEGO DC Super Heroes Flash minifigure in separate auctions. In my opinion, the torsos and legs of the figures are old and possibly not official, but the heads don’t look very fake.

Matthew from Brickset thinks that 2011lilibetho10 might have some connection to the LEGO factory in Mexico as that is where the seller lives. It could also be possible that only the LEGO Simpsons heads are being produced in the Mexican factory and that’s why the torsos and legs look fake. He or she also seems to be selling various LEGO Ninjago robot figures as well.

LEGO Ninjago 2014 Cyborg Figure and Set Images

A lot of LEGO Ninjago 2014 news for next year has surfaced in the past few days, both rumours and official. The first of which was that Mesonak, a Eurobricks user, found a seller on eBay selling what appears to be some sort of new cyborg ninja minifigure from the Ninjago theme. This figure hasn’t been seen before, until now. According to the auction, the figure is named “General Cryptor” – which is apparently going to be included in two sets: 70721 Kai Fighter and 70724 NinjaCopter. The general is mostly black, but includes some electronic printing and cyborg-eye ninja mask.

The Brick News have posted set images of three of the early 2014 Ninjago sets, some of the pictures coming from sites such as Kmart. What’s interesting about all the images above is that the four ninjas (or five if you count Lloyd) are all not wearing their usual masks, instead opting for hair pieces and bandanas. Take a look at some more images and descriptions over at The Brick Fan.

LEGO Ninjago 2014 2

The Official LEGO Ninjago Facebook page also posted this image as well (right), which depicts the words “LEGO Ninjago REBOOTED” at the top and a series of binary code down the bottom that reads “NINDROID”. In the center of the teaser image/poster is what we only assume to be General Cryptor.

LEGO Ninjago hasn’t released any sets in a while, with the new Legends of Chima effectively replacing it. Many loyal fans thought that Ninjago would come to an end, but it seems as though LEGO is reviving or “rebooting” the theme with cyborgs and robots for maybe another year.
