LEGO Creator EXPERT 10243 Parisian Restaurant

The long rumoured and talking about LEGO Creator EXPERT 10243 Parisian Restaurant has been officially unveiled by LEGO at BrickCon in Seattle, US. Way back in July of this year, high-quality LEGO image specialist GRogall revealed on Eurobricks that the next LEGO modular building set would be 10243 Parisian Restaurant and it seems that he was right, with it being officially announced today.

Some information about the set is that it includes 2,469 pieces, will cost US$159.99 and will become available in January 2014. You can check out the official press release from LEGO, as well as the designer video with Jamie Berard, below. It’s very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! It’s just as hectic behind the scenes, with the chef busily preparing the food. This beautifully detailed building is the setting for so many stories and is a great addition to the modular building series. The Parisian Restaurant has a fully-stocked, blue and white tiled kitchen with tableware as well as a cozy apartment with pull-down bed, kitchenette and fireplace. On the top floor is the artist’s room with a studio that includes a cast iron heater, easel, paintbrush and two works of art by the aspiring artist. Outside, stairs lead down to the roof terrace lined with hanging lanterns and flowers where the diners eat alfresco-style. This amazing Parisian Restaurant model even includes a facade with croissants, clams and feather details that recapture the feel of Paris.

LEGO Maersk 10241 Triple E Container Ship Revealed

LEGO has just announced their latest exclusive set, the LEGO Maersk 10241 Triple E Container Ship, at the LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk, Denmark. This set replaces two previous LEGO Maersk ships, the 10152 Maersk Sealand Container Ship and the 10155 Maersk Container Ship. The set is scheduled to be released in January 2014, contains 1,518 bricks and will retail for US$149.99 and UK£109.99.
